Good news! You can receive financial compensation from the state of Indiana to do so through Structured Family Caregiving (SFC).
The Aged and Disabled (A&D) waiver offers individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled the opportunity to stay in their homes rather than going to a nursing facility. Through this waiver, home and community-based services (HCBS) are provided as a supplement to informal supports, ensuring that individuals can receive necessary care in their preferred setting, avoiding the need for nursing facility placement.
